After losing the first two matches against Australia, Team India made a great comeback in the third ODI, in the last ODI, the Indian team defeated the Kangaroos by 13 runs and saved themselves from a clean sweep.
After the victory, Team India captain Virat Kohli said that his team got confidence from the pitch which helped the new ground bowlers. The third match was played at Manuka Oval ground where Australia could not reach the target of 303 runs and by 13 runs. Lost the match
After the match, Kohli said, ‘It is a matter of satisfaction that in the first half of our innings and in the second half of the Australian innings we were under pressure but we returned both times because of this we were able to bring Australia under pressure’.
Kohli scored an innings of 63 runs in this match but after his dismissal, India looked faltering, Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 92 and Ravindra Jadeja scored 66 and shared 150 runs to give the team a score of 302.
Kohli said, ‘I wanted to play a little more but unfortunately Hardik and Jadeja got a good partnership, which was needed by the team.
